Keeping Dilla Alive!
The family of J Dilla have decided to launch the J Dilla foundation which will provide more security and a means of prosperity for his mother, Maurenn “Ma Dukes” Yancey, along with his daughters and brother.
“We've got cutting-edge people all over the country waiting to work and be a part of it. Everybody's on one accord it seems like the universe is working with us,” said Maureen Yancey.
“The entire family knows how Alex's team works and how they've pulled together and stood up for us even before this time, and it's just been excellent. The communication is wonderful. It's like family…we're just one big family.”
His Estate will serve as an outlet for the Yancey family to be bestowed with future financial growth fro the late Dilla through his name, merchandise and his musical recordings. The overall purpose is to continue his musical journey and create an enterprise that will be controlled by his loved ones once the probate process is finally complete.
“The Foundation is to keep Dilla's dream alive to help youth—those who aspire to make good music—and develop their time, talent, and nurture their skill. We also want to be there financially for those who are talented but don't have the money or access to the networks they need to help them grow,” said Yancey.
Along with providing for the ones left behind, the J Dilla Foundation will also become a nonprofit charitable institution to aid in funding towards the further development of music within the inner city and supporting students financially through scholarships for those attending schooling with progressive music curricula.

Gary Coleman Arrested for Domestic Assault on 1/25
Coleman was arrested in Utah today accused of domestic assault.
The 41-year-old star - who recently suffered a health scare - was arrested at 1:28 p.m by police in Santaquin on one count of domestic assault.
He was picked up because of a warrant stemming from a prior incident and was being held on $1,725 bail.
Police declined to release the identity of the victim.

Whopper and a Beer coming to a BK Near You!
According to president of Burger King North America, Chuck Fallon, the restaurants will go up in tourist-heavy areas such as New York, Los Angeles and Las Vegas. The Whopper Bar is even set to hit South Beach in mid-February.
A beer at the bar, which will be served in special aluminum bottles that stay extra cold, runs $4.25, but if you get it as part of a Whopper combo, the bill is $7.99.
"The Burger King customer is aging, so they're just trying to grow up with the customer," said restaurant consultant Linda Lipsky. "You can have America's favorite beers with America's favorite burger."
Burger Kings in Germany sell beer and so do Whopper Bars in Singapore and Venezuela, but now American bars will sell Anheuser-Busch and MillerCoors beers.

First HP now Nikon Discriminates Against a Race
When Joz Wang and her brother bought their mom a Nikon Coolpix S630 digital camera for Mother's Day last year, they discovered what seemed to be a malfunction. Every time they took a portrait of each other smiling, a message flashed across the screen asking, "Did someone blink?" No one had. "I thought the camera was broken!" Wang, 33, recalls. But when her brother posed with his eyes open so wide that he looked "bug-eyed," the messages stopped.
Wang, a Taiwanese-American strategy consultant who goes by the Web handle "jozjozjoz," thought it was funny that the camera had difficulties figuring out when her family had their eyes open. So she posted a photo of the blink warning on her blog under the title, "Racist Camera! No, I did not blink... I'm just Asian!" The post was picked up by Gizmodo and Boing Boing, and prompted at least one commenter to note, "You would think that Nikon, being a Japanese company, would have designed this with Asian eyes in mind."

The Details on the Cash Money's new 'ca$h money' Buisness Venture
Cash Money Records co-founders, Brian “Baby” Williams and Ronald “Slim” Williams were getting into the oil business. Well, now we’ve got more details about this unique venture. The Williams brothers have launched a company called Bronald Oil & Gas (the moniker is a combination of Brian and Ronald’s first names). The company web site (www.BronaldOil.com) says they’re all about the “exploration, production and development of oil and gas reserves from conventional and unconventional formations.”
Baby and Ronald have acquired leases to restart old oil wells and drill new ones in places like Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Florida and even Central America. The Williams brothers promise to keep it green while they’re searching for black gold; they say they’re committed to “preserving the environment” while they drill for oil.

O dropped a statement yesterday saying:

Ice Cube’s Raiders Documentary Receives Official Premiere Date
According to a press release, rapper Ice Cube’s documentary on the NFL football team the Raiders has finally been given a premiere date.
The documentary, which is entitled Straight Outta L.A., will be a part of sports network ESPN’s 30 For 30 series, a documentary series that will feature 30 films in honor of ESPN’s 30th anniversary. Ice Cube’s documentary will premiere on May 4, 2010
Straight Outta L.A. was created to show the correlation between the Raiders’ move to Los Angeles and Hip Hop and culture in the city.
As an eleven year old kid growing up in L.A., Ice Cube says, “I was into sports and watched as many games as I could on TV—the Lakers, USC Football, UCLA, but I hadn’t developed a connection to any particular football team. But that fall, something clicked as I watched the Oakland Raiders.”
Appearently something clicked for the Raiders as well: “The music, lyrics and images that I created with N.W.A. as a solo artist and as an actor helped turn the Raiders into something more than a football team,” Ice Cube said in a statement last year. “It’s been 21 years since we released ‘Straight Outta Compton,’ but to this day, kids all over the world buy Raiders gear, imitate the ‘Gangster Rap’ style and try to connect with the South Central L.A. vibe that we brought to the masses.”

Mother Nature Kicks Haiti While it's Down!
ANOTHER EARTH QUAKE HAS BEEN REPORTED!
The magnitude-6.1 temblor was the largest aftershock yet to the Jan. 12 quake. The extent of additional damage or injuries was not immediately clear.
Wails of terror rose from frightened survivors as the earth shuddered at 6:03 a.m. U.S. soldiers and tent city refugees alike raced for open ground, and clouds of dust rose in the capital.
The U.S. Geological Survey said the quake was centered about 35 miles (56 kilometers) northwest of Port-au-Prince and was 13.7 miles (22 kilometers) below the surface.
Last week's magnitude-7 quake killed an estimated 200,000 people in Haiti, left 250,000 injured and made 1.5 million homeless, according to the European Union Commission.

President Barack Obama sent out his very first post on Twitter Monday while visiting the American Red Cross headquarters in D.C.
The President was there with First Lady Michelle Obama to visit the organizers of a major relief effort in Haiti when he tweeted from the Red Cross's Twitter account saying:
“President Obama and the First Lady are here visiting our disaster operation center right now.”
The Red Cross confirmed that the commander in chief personally posted the tweet saying that “he pushed the button himself.”

I know it sounds like a crazy porno! However a Chicago man is in jail after police say he assaulted and bit off the nipple of an off-duty police officer.
31-year-old Fernando Cooper Is being charged with two felonies, attempting to disarm a peace officer and aggravated battery to a peace officer.
The off-duty officer says he got into a dispute with Cooper outside of a popular restaurant.
Other officers in the area report seeing a “disturbance and struggle” during which the officer claims he identified himself as police.

"My commitment is to recover every single dime the American people are owed. And my determination to achieve this goal is only heightened when I see reports of massive profits and obscene bonuses at some of the very firms who owe their continued existence to the American people...We want our money back, and we're going to get it."
The fee would recover every penny loaned to Wall Street during the financial crisis and stop the reckless abuses and excesses that nearly caused the collapse of our financial system in the first place.
But the banking industry -- among the most powerful lobbies in Washington -- is already launching attacks to stop Congress from enacting the proposal.
Barack and I aren't backing down. But to win, we'll need the American people to add their voice right away.
Thankfully, OFA supporters are already signing on to a bold statement of support: "We want our money back -- and we stand with President Obama to make sure we get it." You can add your name by clicking here.

Clipse's Former Manager Sentenced to 32 Years!
The gavel has come down hard for Clipse former manager, Anthony Gonzalez, as he was sentenced to 32 years behind bars on Monday.
Admitting to his participation as the leader of a drug ring that accumulated $20 million, Gonzalez, 34, received the minimum sentence based off of federal guidelines with it being partially credited to the fact that he was cooperative with the government along with the fact that his past criminal record was not outstanding.
Based on his cooperation once behind bars, he may find his prison sentence lowered even more.

J-Boog from B2K -- aka Jarell Damonte Houston -- was arrested for domestic violence at his L.A. home yesterday. He is reportedly still dating the mother of his child.
Law enforcement sources tell me Boog was arrested late afternoon for ''corporal punishment on a spouse'' as well as for outstanding warrants relating to an allegedly bad driving record.
Neighbors say they heard screaming in the house earlier in the day -- and when cops finally showed up, they rolled deep with 6 or 7 squad cars.
I was told police stayed for about an hour. No confirmation on who else was involved.

Who Premiers a Video on New Years? This is deeper than you may think!
First things first, Let me start by saying HAPPY NEW YEARS...Now lets get straight to the first "industry news" of the new year. Jay Z premiers his new video "On to the Next" on "NBC's New Year's Eve With Carson Daly." Jay-Z also appeared on NBC's New Year's Eve special, alongside Rihanna which had two pre-taped performances of "Umbrella" and "Run This Town" from a week ago that was preformed in New York at Rockefeller Plaza during a snowstorm.
You will understand the strength of these three songs together, and the bigger picture if you ACTUALLY make it to the end of this blog. If you do make it to the end I congratulate you, but I doubt many of you will. I have to give credit where its due, in talks with someone close to me, I decided to go beyond the obvious and really look into the accusations and symbolism at hand. Also have to credit to the "Vigilant Citizen"(http://www.vigilantcitizen.com/) who studies symbolism and is responsible for most of the summarizations made below.
It has been long rumored that Jay-Z is part of some sort of occult order (probably Freemasonry/Illuminati) due to the hints slipped in his songs and his imagery. We’ll look at the symbolism in his songs, songs he is featured on and in his clothing line, Rocawear. Along with Beyonce and Rihanna's transformation to these secret societies or being possessed.

First lets understand Occult Symbolism
The word occult comes from the Latin word occultus (clandestine, hidden, secret), referring to "knowledge of the hidden". The Eye in the triangle which is also referred to as the Eye of Providence. Today, the Eye of Providence is usually associated with Freemasonry. The Eye first appeared as part of the standard iconography of the Freemasons in 1797, with the publication of Thomas Smith Webb's Freemasons Monitor, a book which had a significant impact on the development of Masonic Ritual in America, and especially that of the York Rite, which is where Jay Z is from, but I'll get to that later.

“Rocawear” has incorporated obvious occult symbols in its designs. Some are so blatantly Masonic that he probably couldn’t get away with it if he wasn’t effectively implicated with them. In interviews, Jay-Z has said to be actively involved in the choices of designs of his clothing line. Here are some examples:
"Masters of the Craft" is a 100% Masonic saying and the All-Seeing Eye of the Great Architect depicted here is directly taken from Masonic works. Notice also the secret handshake depicted in a circle.

The logo above is designed to look like the Eye of Horus which is a frequently used hieroglyph is the Wedjat the first name for the Eye of Horus represents a sacred eye symbol that gives the ability "to see again". Which could possibly be linked to the possessed to see in a new way.
Kanye is also expressive with similar symbols. Ye is wearing a Baphomet Shirt. Baphomet is of course the horned androgynous idol of Western Occultism.

Aleister Crowley: Reformer of the O.T.O. whose motto was “Do what Thou Wilt”. He also enjoyed being called ”The wickedest man in the world”.
“Do What Thou Wilt” is the official dictum of the Ordo Templi Orientis (O.T.O.) and of its reformer, occultist Aleister Crowley. The O.T.O. is a hermetic order modeled after Freemasonry and German Illuminism and teaches its initiates the secrets of the Mysteries, gnosticism, sex magick, Kaballah and other occult sciences. The aesthetics of the video are reminiscent of movements led by rebel factions in third world African or Latino countries . The visuals of the video hint a second, occult meaning to the song.
At the beginning of the video, a man hands a lit torch to Rihanna who holds it up in the air. This symbolic gesture sums up perfectly the concept of the video.

Anybody vaguely familiar with occultism can easily associate the symbol of the lit torch held high to Lucifer a.k.a. the Light Bearer. Most occult orders secretly acknowledge Lucifer as being the savior of humanity, the fallen angel who liberated men from the oppression of the biblical God (Jehovah, Yahweh). These orders (the main one being Freemasonry) have been working for centuries towards the overthrow of the rule of organized religions to usher in a new age or a “New Order”. At the philosophical center of this order: the Luciferian Doctrine, where men are free to become gods by their own means. Rihanna’s lyrics are announcing an imminent change that might terrify or enrage some people (“hear the screams from everywhere“). The torches hint to a new spiritual and philosophical era where Lucifer is king. She is “addicted to the thrill” of being on the dark side and she knows that dealing with it is a “dangerous love affair''. But regardless of all of this, it all comes down to control, hence “Only thing that’s on my mind is who gon run this town tonight''.
Then Jay-Z comes along and announces the coming of “Roc Nation” (Roc being a diminutive of Rocafella, the name of his record label, which is based on the elite family Rockefeller).
Jay-Z is asking you to “Pledge your allegiance” to the new ruler and to wear black everything to honor him. Jay’s lyrics contain hints to Freemasonry who are hidden in the double meaning of some lines. “I gave Doug a grip” means he gave Doug a stack of money but the double meaning to that line would refer to the Masons’ secret handshakes which are called “grips”. And who is Doug? Might be Doug Morris. The last line of his first verse is “Back to running circles’ round niggas, now we squared up“. Aside from its obvious meaning, it also refers to the important Masonic concept of “squaring the circle”, which is way too deep to explain here (“I get more in-depth if you boys really real enough“). In the second verse, Jay-Z says ”It’s the return of thee god“, which refers to the Luciferian belief of men being gods. This term is often used in NY slang and originates from the fact that many rappers were Five-Percenters, a philosophy based on the belief that all men are gods. Further in the song Jay-Z says: “I’m in Maison, ugh,Martin Margiela” which is a upper-end fashion store. English speaking people usually pronounce the french word ”maison” to sound like ”mayzaun”. Jay-Z however says it to sound like “mason” as in “Freemason”. There is an obvious double-meaning here meant to catch the ear of the listener. He basically says “I’m in Mason” to make people say “huh did hereally say that?” as “I’m a Freemason” but he then continues by saying “ugh, Martin Margiela“. The little pause after he says those words accentuate the effect. Then Rihanna comes back with the chorus.
She says that the game of life is corrupted but she still succeeds because she “breaks the rules”. In other words, she ignores the boundaries between good and evil to achieve her goals. This might remind you of the saying “Do What Thou Wilt” of the Ordo Templi Orientis described above. Those lines refer to her as a person and also to the Order as a whole, who is prepared to commit the most horrible acts to reach its goals. “Victory’s within the mile” means that the realization of the New World Order is at its final stages and that the Illuminati-sponsored revolution is about to happen.

So “Run This Town” contains obvious hints leading towards Luciferian philosophy and occult orders. The fire of Lucifer’s torch esoterically represents divine knowledge and wisdom brought to men. Fire in this video is however a destructive force.

Why is Sasha Fierce Often Dressed Like a Robot?
This performance is inspired by a scene of the 1927 movie “Metropolis” where a female robot becomes alive.
The recreation of this scene from Metropolis is quite significant. The movie depicts a society divided between two rigid social classes, the ”thinkers” and the “workers”, who can’t communicate with each other. Maria, a young female worker who has some influence among her exploited colleagues gets kidnapped by the ruling class. She is taken to the laboratory of a mad scientist who created a robot.The scene above depicts the transformation of the robot into Maria. The robot symbolises the initiation of Maria into the evil side.

Occult and Prophetic Messages in Rihanna’s Umbrella
The fact is, Umbrella is about a subject matter that is sinister, dark and disturbing: becoming possessed by evil.
What does “under my umbrella” mean?
The song talks about a storm that’s about to take place and Rihanna offers her loved one protection under her umbrella. In this song, “You can stand under my umbrella” it mostly means “You can be under my protection”. When you are under something’s protection, this something has more power than you regarding your own security. You depend on it. It has control over you. IT possesses you. The song is not about love between woman and man, it’s about being protected. It is not an equal relationship. The one that protects basically owns the person that is protected.
Analyzing the song
The first thing that you need to know about the song’s lyrics is that Rihanna sings the whole song but she actually takes on two roles. During the first half of the song, she plays the role of an evil entity that is trying to seduce and possess Rihanna. For the purpose of this analysis we’ll call this entity the Devil. The second role she plays is herself. So the song is basically a dialog between the Devil and Rihanna. The video of the song makes this very clear.
We’ll see how the Devil tries and succeeds at possessing Rihanna in this song. There is a reason why the album is called “Good Girl Gone Bad”.
Jay-Z’s verse
So the song starts off with a verse from Jay-Z. He plays the role of someone that has already been possessed and already “under the umbrella” of the Devil. Here’s his verse:

So the “storm” is in fact related to the economy and the financial world. “Coming down with the Dow Jones” reflects this situation. The Dow Jones is the main indicator of the health of the stock market. If it plummets, we can talk about a market crash. You’ll notice that the whole song has a pessimistic outlook concerning the future. Jay-Z is saying “Let it rain”, he doesn’t care about the financial crisis, he “hydroplanes in the bank”. In other words, while the bank is being flooded by this storm and people are drowning in it, he’s above the water and surviving the crisis.
In other words, when the financial crisis will occur, we won’t be here to suffer through it. “Rocafella” is the name of Jay-Z’s record label. It also refers to John D. Rockefeller and his family, the biggest industrialists in American History and huge actors in the formation of the social-economic world we’re currently living in. Many historians claim the Rockefellers have engineered the crash of 1929 to be able to obtain a stronghold on America’s banking system. Congressman Charles A. Lindberg Sr. accurately proclaimed in 1930:
“We fly higher than the weather” means that Jay-Z cannot be affected by the financial crisis because he is above the problem.
Jay-Z says here that he was expecting this major crisis (the precipitation) and so he has prepared financially to face it. Seems like he had prior knowledge of the events that would occur in the future. Is he talking about the recession that is happening now?

Jay-Z is asking you to “Pledge your allegiance” to the new ruler and to wear black everything to honor him. Jay’s lyrics contain hints to Freemasonry who are hidden in the double meaning of some lines. “I gave Doug a grip” means he gave Doug a stack of money but the double meaning to that line would refer to the Masons’ secret handshakes which are called “grips”. And who is Doug? Might be Doug Morris. The last line of his first verse is “Back to running circles’ round niggas, now we squared up“. Aside from its obvious meaning, it also refers to the important Masonic concept of “squaring the circle”, which is way too deep to explain here (“I get more in-depth if you boys really real enough“). In the second verse, Jay-Z says ”It’s the return of thee god“, which refers to the Luciferian belief of men being gods. This term is often used in NY slang and originates from the fact that many rappers were Five-Percenters, a philosophy based on the belief that all men are gods. Further in the song Jay-Z says: “I’m in Maison, ugh,Martin Margiela” which is a upper-end fashion store. English speaking people usually pronounce the french word ”maison” to sound like ”mayzaun”. Jay-Z however says it to sound like “mason” as in “Freemason”. There is an obvious double-meaning here meant to catch the ear of the listener. He basically says “I’m in Mason” to make people say “huh did hereally say that?” as “I’m a Freemason” but he then continues by saying “ugh, Martin Margiela“. The little pause after he says those words accentuate the effect. Then Rihanna comes back with the chorus.

She says that the game of life is corrupted but she still succeeds because she “breaks the rules”. In other words, she ignores the boundaries between good and evil to achieve her goals. This might remind you of the saying “Do What Thou Wilt” of the Ordo Templi Orientis described above. Those lines refer to her as a person and also to the Order as a whole, who is prepared to commit the most horrible acts to reach its goals. “Victory’s within the mile” means that the realization of the New World Order is at its final stages and that the Illuminati-sponsored revolution is about to happen.

So “Run This Town” contains obvious hints leading towards Luciferian philosophy and occult orders. The fire of Lucifer’s torch esoterically represents divine knowledge and wisdom brought to men. Fire in this video is however a destructive force.

Why is Sasha Fierce Often Dressed Like a Robot?
This performance is inspired by a scene of the 1927 movie “Metropolis” where a female robot becomes alive.
The recreation of this scene from Metropolis is quite significant. The movie depicts a society divided between two rigid social classes, the ”thinkers” and the “workers”, who can’t communicate with each other. Maria, a young female worker who has some influence among her exploited colleagues gets kidnapped by the ruling class. She is taken to the laboratory of a mad scientist who created a robot.The scene above depicts the transformation of the robot into Maria. The robot symbolises the initiation of Maria into the evil side.

Occult and Prophetic Messages in Rihanna’s Umbrella
The fact is, Umbrella is about a subject matter that is sinister, dark and disturbing: becoming possessed by evil.
What does “under my umbrella” mean?
The song talks about a storm that’s about to take place and Rihanna offers her loved one protection under her umbrella. In this song, “You can stand under my umbrella” it mostly means “You can be under my protection”. When you are under something’s protection, this something has more power than you regarding your own security. You depend on it. It has control over you. IT possesses you. The song is not about love between woman and man, it’s about being protected. It is not an equal relationship. The one that protects basically owns the person that is protected.
Analyzing the song
The first thing that you need to know about the song’s lyrics is that Rihanna sings the whole song but she actually takes on two roles. During the first half of the song, she plays the role of an evil entity that is trying to seduce and possess Rihanna. For the purpose of this analysis we’ll call this entity the Devil. The second role she plays is herself. So the song is basically a dialog between the Devil and Rihanna. The video of the song makes this very clear.
We’ll see how the Devil tries and succeeds at possessing Rihanna in this song. There is a reason why the album is called “Good Girl Gone Bad”.
Jay-Z’s verse
So the song starts off with a verse from Jay-Z. He plays the role of someone that has already been possessed and already “under the umbrella” of the Devil. Here’s his verse:

Explanation

So the “storm” is in fact related to the economy and the financial world. “Coming down with the Dow Jones” reflects this situation. The Dow Jones is the main indicator of the health of the stock market. If it plummets, we can talk about a market crash. You’ll notice that the whole song has a pessimistic outlook concerning the future. Jay-Z is saying “Let it rain”, he doesn’t care about the financial crisis, he “hydroplanes in the bank”. In other words, while the bank is being flooded by this storm and people are drowning in it, he’s above the water and surviving the crisis.

In other words, when the financial crisis will occur, we won’t be here to suffer through it. “Rocafella” is the name of Jay-Z’s record label. It also refers to John D. Rockefeller and his family, the biggest industrialists in American History and huge actors in the formation of the social-economic world we’re currently living in. Many historians claim the Rockefellers have engineered the crash of 1929 to be able to obtain a stronghold on America’s banking system. Congressman Charles A. Lindberg Sr. accurately proclaimed in 1930:

“We fly higher than the weather” means that Jay-Z cannot be affected by the financial crisis because he is above the problem.

Jay-Z says here that he was expecting this major crisis (the precipitation) and so he has prepared financially to face it. Seems like he had prior knowledge of the events that would occur in the future. Is he talking about the recession that is happening now?

His lyrics are saying that he is part of the “chosen”, the elite, the secret group that cannot be harmed by the trials and tribulations of the “small people”. Even if there’s a major crisis, he’s associated with the very people that make those crisis happen, so he won’t be affected. This group however bows down and worships evil. If Rihanna, or ANYONE ELSE wants to be part of them, she has to do the same. HENCE THE NAME "On to the Next" WHO WILL IT BE?
