We are hit with situations daily that call for a decision to be made. The putting off of decisions invite dis....ease. We get stressed out at times. The majority of this stress comes from NOT bringing a situation to a close.
So many people try to figure it out on their own. We have to go within to weigh the options, if there are any options. Going within is shutting down to pray/meditate. Be Still! Most of us can't be still. We always see children being energetic to the point we have to shout "will you be still"! We have this meeting to attend to, we have to get to work on time, the kids need to be picked up from day care, dinner has to be made, etc. Somewhere within your hustle find quiet time to make the decisions that need to be made or another situation will come about then another until it's too overwhelming to consume.
Here's something helpful from an unknown author that gets the point across.
"Decisions without action, block your progress.
A Decision creates a tension in your mind between it and its fulfillment. This tension continues to exist until you either fulfill it or replace it with another decision. Inaction after a decision is made causes congestion in the mind".
If possible, don't sleep on a decision, putting it off makes it even harder to decide.
